About NaijaElects
NaijaElects is a free, independent, non-partisan public-opinion platform built to track Nigerian voter sentiment ahead of the 2027 general elections. We aggregate anonymous responses from Nigerians across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory to give journalists, researchers, civic organisations, and everyday voters a clear, real-time picture of where public opinion stands.
Why NaijaElects exists
Nigeria's 2027 general elections — covering the presidency, 36 governorships, and 360 House of Assembly seats — will shape the country for a generation. Yet accessible, transparent, real-time polling has historically been scarce. Too often, public debate runs on rumour and anecdote rather than data.
NaijaElects bridges that gap. We make it easy for any eligible Nigerian to record their opinion anonymously in under a minute, and to see instantly how their views compare with the rest of the country — by state, by age group, and by the issues that matter most.
What we track
- Presidential voting intention by candidate and party
- Governorship voting intention across all 36 states
- House of Assembly voting intention by constituency
- The top issues driving voters: the economy, security, jobs, education, healthcare, power supply, corruption, and the cost of living
- Weekly sentiment trends and automated anomaly monitoring
Our principles
Independence
NaijaElects is operated independently. We are not affiliated with INEC, any political party, any candidate, or any government body. We do not accept payment to promote or suppress any political interest, and we do not endorse anyone.
Privacy
We never collect names, phone numbers, PVC numbers, NIN, BVN, or exact addresses. Every response is anonymous, and only aggregate results are ever published. You can read the full details in our privacy policy.
Transparency
We are open about how our polls work and honest about their limits. Online opinion polls are a directional signal of public sentiment — not official results and not predictions. Where a release is a weighted scientific sample, we say so explicitly.
Who it's for
Journalists tracking the national mood, researchers studying voter behaviour, civic groups planning voter education, and ordinary Nigerians who simply want to know how their views compare — NaijaElects is built for all of them, and it is free to use.
