    About this public opinion tracker

Original guidance for readers — independent of INEC and all political parties

NaijaElects is a free, independent platform that measures anonymous voter sentiment ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections. Eligible respondents can share presidential, governorship, and House of Assembly preferences, plus the issue that matters most to them. Everything on the public dashboard is published as an aggregate total — never as an individual ballot.

This is not an official election result page. Official results are produced only by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after votes are cast and counted. Our charts are public-opinion snapshots. Online samples can overrepresent younger and more internet-active voters, so treat open-poll figures as directional unless a release is clearly labelled as a weighted scientific sample. Full detail is on our methodology page.

    How to use the dashboard

    1. Choose the office you care about (presidential, governorship, or assembly).
    2. Read the national preference chart and check the response base under the chart.
    3. Use the segment filter to compare youth, verified, and persuadable respondents.
    4. Open the state view to see where coverage is strong or still thin.
    5. Scan top issues to understand what respondents say is driving their choices.
